Motor Trade Insurance Policy

Motor Trade Insurance Policy

Motor Trade Policy

It is essential to have a good Business Insurance if you earn a living buying, selling, fixing or generally working with cars, even if its part- time. Specifically, a Motor Trade Policy is especially designed for large and small motor traders. Motor traders will discover that each policy is different; there is a variety of coverage, premiums and features. Therefore, it is vital that the motor trader chooses the policy that best meets their needs and budget.

A Motor Trade Insurance sales team will provide you with all your Motor Trade Insurance Policy options. There are generally five types of policies that you may opt from. They are the Third Party Only or Third Part, Fire and Theft policy. Motor Traders can opt to purchase the Comprehensive or Liability policies. Lastly, the Combined Policy is also an option. Again, it is very important to choose the policy that is right for your particular type of motor trade. Some interesting features may include administrative, social, domestic and pleasure use of any vehicles for all named drivers. Secondly, you may receive a free second occupation ‘class one coverage’ for you and your partner or up to fifty percent no claims bonus awarded after five years. Additionally, the motor trader may be offered the option to either use a private or commercial bonus from previous insurers.

The Third Party Only Motor Trade Insurance Policy (also referred to as Third Party Road Risks Policy) is required by law if such services are practiced. If you buy and sell cars or operate as a mobile tuner, repairer, Valier or fitter, then you must operate under this particular policy. If you own a garage of MOT station and repair or restore classic and cherished cars, you are also classified as a Third Party Only policy candidate. Finally, motor traders need to consider purchasing the Third Party Only Motor Trade Policy if you provide any general vehicle repairs or need t drive any vehicle on the public road, (yours or your customers). The Third Party, Fire and Theft Policy honor the same criteria as it also protects vehicles in the event of fire or theft. The Comprehensive Policy is designed for the motor traders that receive all of the above as well as comprehensive coverage. This would include accidental damage to cover vehicles in the event of fire or theft. Motor traders could opt to protect their business by purchasing the Liability Policy. This Motor Traders insurance Policy is especially designed for motor traders who employ someone and service, repair, or restore cars. This business will also buy, supply and fit parts. The Liability Policy covers the business that invites the public onto their premises while also providing service for them. There are three types of Liability Insurance; Public, Employers and Product, Sales and Service Idemnity (including Defective Workmanship). Of course, the Combined Policy provides coverage for premises, contents, tools, liability, vehicles and money. In essence, whatever Motor Trade Policy that you choose to protect your Motor Trade business, be sure that it is convenient and effective at the best price.

What Is Private Medical Insurance?

What Is Private Medical Insurance?

Private medical insurance is optional insurance which an individual or entire family can take out by paying a monthly premium, the same as with life or home insurance. There are many advantages to paying for private medical insurance and here are just of the reasons you could consider taking out this form of insurance.

Perhaps the biggest advantage to taking private medical insurance is to avoid the long waiting lists that are now common on the NHS. Private health insurance can give you peace of mind that if you become ill then you will be immediately seen and are guaranteed to get the very best of treatment.

The second big plus to having private medical insurance is the choice that comes with it. If you should have to have an operation then you will have a choice over the surgeon that performs the operation along with your choice of hospital. Of course you will have a private room which means that visiting hours won’t be restricted as they are when in a NHS hospital. You will get a choice from a menu and you wont have the medical students standing around your bed that are commonly seen following Doctors around the wards of the hospitals.

Not only will you avoid the waiting lists associated with operations but even for minor operations and treatment you will be seen straight away. There are many choices for the cover you can have and searching online for the best coverage and cheapest cover is essential. However in most cases you will only get what you pay for and if you want to make savings then taking limited cover might be your only option.

Perhaps the only disadvantages to paying for private medical insurance is that not all medical eventualities are covered and the private hospitals might not have the depth of expertise found in the NHS.

What is Meant by Major Medical Insurance?

What is Meant by Major Medical Insurance?

Major medical insurance cover is the name given to one particular form of what is commonly referred to today as indemnity or fee-for-service health insurance.

Escalating medical costs these days mean that we are progressively moving away from traditional types of medical insurance and the original fee-for-service medical insurance plan is rapidly being replaced by a number of other plans including HMO (health maintenance organization) plans, PPO (preferred provider organization) plans and POS (point of service) plans.

Basically fee-for-service medical insurance plans are designed to cover unforeseen medical expenses due to illness or injury and give plan holders significant freedom in picking where treatment is taken and by whom such treatment is given. Fee-for-service plan holders are also usually responsible for paying for treatment and for then reclaiming the cost from their insurer.

Newer plans by contrast focus much more on routine medical care with the intention of avoiding unnecessary costs by keeping plan holders well and identifying problems at a very early stage when they are hopefully simple to treat. These newer plans simplify administration for plan holders but also take away much of the freedom to decide where and from whom treatment is to be received.

Most people today are covered by the newer types of medical insurance instead of by traditional fee-for-service plans primarily not only because of their reduced cost but also because there is a lot less administration when it comes to making claims against your plan. In addition, a rising number of employers who offer group health insurance plans for their employees are also opting for these newer types of plan. All the same, there is still a large number of people who want the freedom of choice which a fee-for-service plan gives them and it is here that you may want to look at major medical insurance coverage.

Fee-for-service plans provide three forms of coverage; basic health insurance, major medical insurance and comprehensive insurance.

Basic health insurance plans vary from one insurer to the next but will usually cover hospital treatment (plus the cost of room and board), some hospital services (like x-rays and medicine), surgery (whether done in hospital or another recognized surgery center) and some doctors visits.

By contrast major medical insurance plans are designed to cover the treatment of long-term and high cost illnesses and injuries and both in and out-patient expenses associated with such illnesses and injuries.

Finally, comprehensive insurance cover is merely a plan which encompasses both basic and major medical coverage.

Perhaps not surprisingly major medical insurance is a popular choice as many people are only too happy to pay the day to day cost of medical care but are worried about how they would cope in the event of a major illness or accident which might involve large medical expense which could drag on for weeks, months or even years.

Sadly, the security and choice that is provided by major medical insurance is reflected in the cost of fee-for-service plans generally and thus it is increasingly becoming an option which a lot of people would like to select but one which is simple becoming too expensive.

Cheap Travel Insurance: How to Find It

Cheap Travel Insurance: How to Find It

Travel insurance: It protects you when you need protecting the most. It gives you financial security in a land that is not your own, when you are facing circumstances that are beyond your control. It can replace your personal belongings; it can give you shelter and even pay for medical emergencies. It is a vital companion for any traveller. It comes in many forms and has many prices. If you have need of it, you don’t want to pay more for it than you absolutely have to. And so, your quest for cheap travel insurance begins.

When you book a trip with a travel agent, you will be offered travel insurance. This might be the most convenient way to purchase travel insurance, but it is not always the cheapest. In order to find cheap travel insurance, you will need to do a little bit of legwork yourself.

One of the best tools that you can use to find cheap travel insurance is the internet. You can purchase individual policies from insurance providers without having to go through a travel agent. But you will need to contact the insurance company directly. You can do this by using the internet to find the travel insurance providers in your area. Or you can visit websites and obtain quotes all from the comfort of your own home. Many cheap travel insurance companies will also allow you to buy your policy online.

You may also want to shop for cheap travel insurance at your current insurance agency. Many companies give discounts to their customers who purchase multiple policies through them. Always check with your current insurance agent to see what types of deals that you can get.

Business directories are another great tool that you can use to shop for cheap travel insurance. However, this method takes more time as you will need to call each listing to ask for quotes.

If you have friends and family who travel frequently, you may want to ask them where they purchase their travel insurance. Referrals are a great way to get a feel of what to expect from a company. This is especially true if your references have had to file a travel insurance claim in the past.

When you’re shopping for cheap travel insurance, always remember to review each policy thoroughly. There could be fine print and red tape that you will not be aware of until it’s too late. Remember; a great price is not always a great deal. You need to shop for the policy with the best coverage at the lowest possible price. Never skimp on coverage.

If you plan to shop for cheap travel insurance on your own, you will need to begin comparing policies in advance of your trip. You should start comparing policies and getting quotes well before you plan to travel. This will give you plenty of time to find the right policy and make your purchase.

Paint the Garage Floor

Paint the Garage Floor

Painting the Garage Floor

For many homeowners a painted garage floor is a must do project to give the garage a professional appearance. This is a great project for the “do-it-yourself” homeowner. A painted garage floor looks great and makes cleaning the garage much easier. It takes approximately three days to complete the project, less if the weather cooperates.

Floor paint for heavy traffic and work areas should be selected with care. Epoxy paint has a hard finish and holds up well to heavy traffic. It comes in many different colors. It consists of an epoxy resin with a polyamine hardener. It is a two part mixture that must be mixed on the job just before application. Most epoxy paints have a short shelf life, meaning that there is a limited time between mixing and applying the paint. Most epoxy paint manufactures recommend that it be used within two hours after mixing.

The critical step in painting the garage floor with epoxy paint is the cleaning process of the floor. The floor must be thoroughly cleaned of all grease and oil stains or the paint will not adhere to the surface. After a thorough cleaning the concrete must be etched with an acid solution. The best concrete etching solution is a 50/50 mixture of muriatic acid and water; however, there are other commercial products available. Etching the concrete will help remove any residual oil that is in the pours of the concrete.

How to do it

Remove all items from the garage including items that cover floor space that you want painted.

Insure that the garage is fully ventilated

Clean the floor by sweeping and scrubbing to remove all traces of dirt, grease, and oil.

Fill any large cracks with concrete crack filler and let dry.

Use a 50/50 mixture of muriatic acid and water or equivalent product to scrub the floor. Wear protective gloves, goggles, and a face mask during this step as the muriatic acid has a toxic odor and may be harmful to your skin.

Let the floor dry thoroughly.

Apply masking tape between the wall and the floor to avoid getting paint on the walls.

Mix the two part epoxy paint according to the manufactures recommendations.

Apply the paint with a roller covering the entire floor in one application. Use a brush in hard to get areas such as corners.

Let dry for twenty four hours before moving items back into the garage.

How to Find the Cheapest Insurance For Your Automobile

How to Find the Cheapest Insurance For Your Automobile

The cheapest insurance you can get for your automobile can end up being a costly mistake if you are uninformed of every detail concerning the coverage and costs involved. There are a few reasons why cheaper insurance is available for many drivers that you should be aware of before choosing a policy that suits a small budget.

The easiest and most advantageous way to be eligible for a significant discount would require possession of a clean recent driving record, good credit history, and have a series of insurance policies (i. E. Life, homeowners, and auto coverage) registered with the same company. Drivers with these attributes are sure to obtain a cheaper rate for auto insurance.

Most insurance companies have their own customized system which is used to rate the potential risk of each client along with their vehicle. What is common among the majority of them is both your score and premium are greatly affected by your personal credit history, which normally accounts for about 30% of the overall results of the assessment, while other factors vary in type and weight depending on the insurance company.

If you have average credit history or perhaps no multi-policy package, you can still get a cheaper premium by raising your deductibles and/or lowering the limits on the coverage. As effective as this strategy can be, it is also a potential gamble so you should consider what a claim will end up costing you in exchange for a lower price on the premium.

The disturbing consequences of a bad accident are not worth lowering coverage limits to the bare minimum, especially in regards to bodily injury limits. Insurance companies will only pay for damages according to the limit you chose so if you hurt someone in an accident that is deemed your fault, the wrong coverage could cost you enough to lose your home.

As a precaution, every U. S. State has a minimum required limit for bodily injury coverage; however, in the case of a serious collision which causes critical or even fatal harm to another person, these minimums are very rarely adequate enough to endure the colossal expenses that are likely to follow.

It is worthwhile to know that insurance companies with extremely cheap rates will also cheap out on you when you need them the most. These kinds of companies may offer incredibly low premiums, but it is strongly advised you avoid them because they dishonestly dodge and dismiss being responsible for claims one at a time for as long as they can get away with it. Some of these companies will even disappear off the face of the earth without any warning, taking all of their clients’ investments along with them.

Decreased yet moderate coverage limits and reasonable deductibles are two safe ways for just about anyone to obtain cheaper car insurance; although if you maintain clean personal credit and driving records and also combine your policies under one company, you are sure to safely find the cheapest insurance available for your vehicle.

Get the inside scoop on how to find cheap insurance for young drivers and cheapest insurance providers in your area.

Take out a travel insurance Australia policy and then “She’ll be right mate”

Take out a travel insurance Australia policy and then “She’ll be right mate”

Many Australians who take their holidays at home, without going overseas, and many business travelers zapping around the country between major cities would probably never stop to think about taking out an Australian travel insurance policy.  We tend to dart all over this massive continent of ours with such familiarity that driving from Adelaide to Melbourne or flying from Brisbane to Perth isn’t treated in our minds much different to walking down to the local shops. What could go so wrong, that travel insurance for Australians is needed?

Let’s have a think about it……

If you are in the north of the country, let’s say Darwin, and you have to get to a conference in Sydney, where you are booked into a five star hotel for the duration, have paid conference fees and airfares to get you there.  And there is a cyclone bearing down on you.  Lots of things to consider here – can’t leave the family on their own, all flights out of Darwin are canceled anyway, but your air tickets, hotel and conference fees are all non-refundable.   Whilst Australian travel insurance cover won’t make the hazards of the cyclone any easier to bear, it will more than likely compensate you for costs incurred for your canceled trip.

You could live in the outback, and have planned to take a cruise around the coast, but it has been raining for days, and isn’t going to stop quite yet.  The area is flooding, and you are marooned in your settlement, can’t drive anywhere and even if you could, no flights are leaving your local airport, or trains getting through.  So you can’t get to your cruise ship on time and it leaves without you.  Travel insurance Australia would take a bit of the dampness off and lift your spirits in terms of travel plan disruptions.

On a more serious note, travel in Australia is probably less risky than in other places around the globe, in terms of natural disasters, riots, security alerts etc, but there are still certain things that can go wrong.   There can be delays in travel for many reasons, which in turn may have knock on effects to the remainder of your travel plans and more often than not, travel plan changes incur extra costs.  Travel insurance Australia takes some of the sting out of these inconveniences and it really is prudent to take out a travel insurance policy before you set off on your journey.

Depending on the type of policy you invest in, travel insurance Australia covers  you for loss of baggage, rental car excess, disruption of journey, accidental death, family emergency and other incidents.  Should you be a frequent traveler, either for business or pleasure, there are Australian travel insurance companies who offer multi-trip policies, for domestic or international travel or both.  Multi trip insurance for Australians is a very economical way of taking out insurance cover when compared to travel insurance cover for individual trips.

An easy way to access the various types of cover available is to look online.  Most Australian travel insurance companies have websites  and there are some very competitive and cheap insurance policies available, particularly from those companies who deal directly with you, rather than through agents.

So don’t be complacent, and think just because you are staying “at home” during your journeying, everything will go according to plan.  Take out a travel insurance Australia policy and then “She’ll be right mate”.

Buying your travel insurance is as easy as 1,2,3 with 1Cover. Save time and money by purchasing direct from 1Cover the travel insurance Australia experts.
